Is this a unique offering for Charities? If so, to what extent and how?
For now “Dollars for Dogs” is a unique offering and is seen by participating mobility companies as a pilot for future text-to-help programs. Through our mobile aggregation partner, Magnet Mobile Media, participating mobile network operators have been working on a collective program called TXTAID, a text service that will enable a fast and simpler way for the public to respond and make causal donations for national disaster relief, at home and abroad. This service is being conceived to emulate similar collaborative initiatives such as “text2help”, an American cross-carrier charity program. http://www.wirelessfoundation.org/Text2Help/index.cfm

To what extent is the Dollars For Dogs program a Canadian “first”?
It is the first time mobile network operators will pass forward 100% of the premium text proceeds. 100% of each $1.00 premium contribution will benefit dog adoption programs across Canada.
